The last of four Bark In The Park 2016 sponsored walks are taking place in Phoenix Park on Sunday the 21st of August 2016. The walk will start at 3 pm at the junction of Chesterfield Avenue and Ordnance Survey Road, near the Castleknock Road entrance.
Entrants will receive a sponsorship pack when registering. There will also be raffles, music, goody bags and prizes on the day. Prizes will go for the dog with the Best Bark, Shiniest Coat, Happiest Smile and Waggiest Tail.
And this year there will be a new award for Best Trick in the Pack. Irish Blue Cross is the official sponsor and all funds raised for the walks will go to this animal welfare charity who looks after sick and needy pets.
Last year’s Bark in the Park events raised over €25,000 for the charity. The only rules on the day is to keep your pets on leads and under control and restricted breeds must wear muzzles.
